I have been a Catholic School secretary for 20 years. My son attended Catholic School in the Diocese of Bridgeport from Kindergarten through college.  I believe in Catholic education and my duties as the school secretary keep me in contact with the important values a Catholic education offers its students.  My responsibilities involve interaction with parents, students, staff, and administration.  My day goes by quickly as I contact parents, maintain records, assist faculty, communicate information, type, file, copy and complete a host of minor and major tasks that are part of a school office.  I must admit that one of my greatest pleasures is reassuring and encouraging St. Jude students, as the need arises, as well as comforting an upset child and wiping a runny nose. 

It is important for me to work in a faith-filled environment and I can’t imagine working anywhere other than St. Jude School.
